These strategies produce specific methodology to counter implications and consequences for GMC as they articulate to achieve the foundation’s strategic goal since 2001. GMC provides medical and related health services in 8 IDP camps of Galkacyo and Bacadweyn by establishing a health post in each camp with mobile medical teams and a Doctor. The most critical cases are referred to the GMC which is the main medical facility by the health posts for surgical operations and other related procedures; recording an annual average of 5,000 referrals. Interventions are informed by observations and research by GMF team having reviewed internal and external environments having undertaken comprehensive analysis of its stakeholders and competitors. The center plans and takes action and implements medical services in the target areas with the help of international and local donors . GMF uses broad and general methodologies to allow flexibility and adoption in determining the best way to achieve its strategic objectives.
